Heating
system.
Magnetic induction targets the metal fastener directly, keeping the heat highly localized. While much safer than a torch's open flame, the bolt itself gets extremely hot, so keep touching plastics or flammables clear.
It is engineered specifically for steel and cast-iron fasteners, which make up the vast majority of seized bolts. Non-ferrous metals like aluminum heat far less efficiently with induction.
The 4 included coils cover most common fastener sizes up to 20mm. That's everything from tight, recessed bolts to wider lug nuts and suspension hardware.
Yes. Because there is no open flame or combustion gas, there are no heavy ventilation requirements like you would need with a propane or oxy-acetylene torch.
While our coils are highly durable, heavy daily shop use will eventually wear them down. We stock full replacement kits in various angles and sizes so your tool is never out of commission.
Cordless
wrench.
1800N.m of maximum breakaway torque providing ample force to handle heavy automotive hardware and over-tightened lug nuts.
Yes. Every order ships with two 21V batteries and a fast charger for continuous operation.
In most cases, yes. For extremely corroded hardware, pair it with the Mr Kav Bolt Heater Kit to melt the rust bond first and protect the bolt head.
Comparable torque class, at roughly half the price. This is a genuine 1800N.m wrench, not a claim of identical performance, just a brushless 1/2" impact wrench delivering in the same general power range as premium kits costing far more.³
Like any impact wrench, applying full torque to a badly worn or previously rounded head can damage it further. Use the lowest speed setting that turns the fastener, and consider the bolt heater kit first on badly rusted fasteners to reduce the resistance the wrench has to work against.
Impact drivers usually have a 1/4" hex drive for driving screws into wood. This is a true impact wrench, featuring a full 1/2" square drive engineered specifically for heavy automotive hardware.
If a shop's pneumatic gun installed your wheels, a manual breaker bar often isn't strong enough to get them off again. Improvising extra leverage with a pipe, or jumping on the wrench, is a fast way to snap a wheel stud or round off a bolt head. This wrench uses rapid rotational impacts instead of raw leverage, so it can break that bond without the extra risk to the fastener, or to you.
For anything you'd otherwise book a garage for, a wheel change, a brake job, a seasonal tyre swap, one or two jobs usually covers the cost of the tool. Every job after that is a bill you didn't pay.
